This Is How We Do It!

Exfoliate the Skin/Body

The skin is the largest organ in the body. The outermost layer of the epidermis consists of 25 to 30 layers of dead cells, which can leave the skin looking and feeling coarse and unhealthy.  Exfoliating the skin/body, at least twice a week, can work wonders on the body.

This is what you’ll need:

  • Body Brush or Large piece of loofa
  • Soft washcloth or bathing glove
  • A body scrub (we recommend Oh Yeah! 100 % organic Dead Sea Salt Scrub & Soak)

Use the body brush or large piece of loofa and, starting from the feet, gingerly dry brush the skin moving upwards toward the heart.  This will expel the dead cells from the skin. Once you have thoroughly brush the body, use warm water to wash body. Thoroughly damp the washcloth or hand glove and with a fist full of Oh Yeah! 100% organic Dead Sea Salt Scrub & Soak, generously apply over body. Work in a circular motion massaging the body until the entire body is covered. Shower thoroughly. Pat dry and moisturize your entire body with Oh Yeah 100% pure and organic Body Butter Soufflé.

Exfoliate the Face

The eyes tell our secrets. The skin tells our truths. Cleansing the face can be tricky. First, determine what type of skin you have—oily, dry, combination. Each skin type calls for its own product and cleansing method. Whatever the case, make sure the products you use on the face are always 100% pure and organic.

This is what you’ll need:

  • 2 Clean washcloths
  • A facial scrub (we recommend 1 tsp. honey, 1.5 tsp. raw brown sugar, 2 tbsp. warm water) or facial cleanser
  • Toner (we recommend the pulp of fresh aloe, lemon juice, 100% rose water.  However, witch hazel is also amazing)
  • Oh Yeah! Gladys Facial Soufflé
  • Optional: one drop of lemon or lavender 100% pure and natural essential oil

Wet a washcloth and place in the microwave for .50 seconds. Remove and fan out before carefully placing the warm (make sure it is not intolerably hot/warm) washcloth on face for sixty seconds.  Apply facial scrub, gently moving upward in a circular motion.  Rinse with “lukewarm” water. Pat dry. Apply toner. Wait until face is thoroughly dry then apply Oh Yeah! Gladys Facial Butter Soufflé.  This facial moisturizer is simply amazing!

Exfoliate the Lips

Our lips are an erogenous zone for intimacy as well as a necessity for food intake and verbal communication. The lips should be cleansed daily for proper hygiene maintenance as well as to achieve a healthy, more youthful, appearance.  Because your lips are sensitive, it is important to be very gentle when cleansing.

This is what you’ll need:

  • Small piece of loofa (an electric toothbrush will do as well; make sure the toothbrush head is used exclusively for the lips and not for regular brushing of the teeth/gum/tongue)
  • 1 teaspoon of pure organic baking soda
  • 1 tbsp. peroxide
  • 1 tbsp. warm water
  • 100% essential peppermint (or your favorite) oil (optional)

Soak small piece of loofa in clean warm water to make it less abrasive.  Expel water from loofa and dip in peroxide. Dip peroxide-dampen loofa into baking soda and slowly rub onto lips in circular motion (press and expand the lips, if necessary). Use warm water to wash lips. You may add a dab of peppermint oil in water for flavor and fragrance. Once completed, smooth lips over with our moisturizing Oh Yeah! Lena Lip Treatment.
